Help!
My nephew and I managed to get the impeller pump pulley jammed on the impeller shaft today and in the process of removing the pulley we bent the pulley and broke the ears off of the front cover. OUCH! Considering we were trying to get back in the water tomorrow, we're not real happy.
So now I need a front cover and an impeller pump pulley. We actually don't need a complete front cover. The part the fuel pump attaches to is fine. What we need is just the front half that has the two ears that mount the impeller pump.
As for the impeller pump pulley, I'm going to my machinist Monday to see if he has any special magic he can employ to straighten it. Or I'm wondering if this pulley is shared by something else, like Ford Pinto's, or something. My engine was originally in a 1969 Barracuda. I'm giving it a facelift before it lands in a 1974 Southwind 18 I bought from someone off of this site.
I'm in southwestern Virginia.
