I have found a 2000 SN closed bow with the GT40 engine. It has apprx 700 hours and appears to be in immaculate condition. It is at a boat store and they only want $12000. My question is, am I crazy or is this too low? Really want your opinions before I go see it in person.

It is only worth what someone will pay for it. The boat may be at a dealer that doesnt get these often, or sells bass boats and toons. Try and find out the history. See if you can locate the previous owner (old registration still in the boat or the reg#)

You may want to check some online sites for value, as I really dont know, but it seems boats have dropped since I bought my last one! Make sure the boat is legit with a clean title, not a rebuilt or salvage title. If it runs good and is in good condition, the price does seem very fair to me. My buddy bought a 95 SNOB low hours in very good shape about two years ago for 11.5K and that seemed like a good deal at the time. Good luck.
