WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT...........................!
Oh Boy! I love surprises only when it comes to guys here I'm a little fearful.
I'll be sure to surprise you if I'm surprised by the surpise and the fact that Bradyn wrote a surprise thankyou Kim will be pleasantly surprised when I surprise her with it.
I know you're good for the speaker boxes but if not you won't be surprised when I surprisingly post that you hadn't surprised me with a check.
Why would anyone else be surprised if I didn't?

Okay for those of you who care and have bothered to read this thread. This is the surprise that Marty sent me. I had told him at the Masters that I tried to get new registration #'s in the 2001 "wave" format but my vinyl guy couldn't do it. Guess who came through for me. Marty Mabe strikes again. Thanks again Marty!!!!
OLD registration
NEW Registration!!!

Man, I didn't gett 'em bold enough did I? Is that Red color right? You know I'm more picky than you guys, but the Owner would'nt have put 'em on if they weren't good enough for them, so I guess they're allright!
And No Godfather I'm still in the hole with Mr.Morfoot-- I owe him for a set of speaker boxes, I guess I need to send him some money for taking care of the CCFan Banners that I had to leave at the Masters. He has to mail yours back to ya, then he says he'll just hang-on to the Orange and Blue one till the next 'Mini-Ga' Gathering--
But I think that was a hint that he might want to keep it
So, I'm thinking on that one-----and then another big surprise CCFans--although it would really only be for a limited few of us---Keith has asked me about some decals for his boat-- which some of you saw that I came across the 'Singapore' Decal which he thought would've been impossible to find--- but thanks to my 'SPECIAL' guy(who knows who he is) I had that decal in my 'Stash'---- But all of a sudden the AME 5000 Decals seem to have eluded us or vanished. I have been on the web, e-mailing company after company and I came home after my softball game Thursday nite and have an e-mail from a person, that says he's sending me a few decals my way!
So ,I won't ruin the surprise until they arrive then I'll post a pic of the 'prize'decals and then you'll see that all you have to do in this world is still just ask- and just as I, was blessed in this adventure in finding these decals. But this person didn't have to do what he did in the return of my e-mail and shooting these decals to me.
And on the flip-side, this person is the Regional Account Manager of this BIG Company and I just asked if he would be interested in some kind of sponsorship with CCFan in future events. I'm waiting on his response.
So maybe Saturday,I can post his e-mail he sent me, then some of us can go ahead and start wet-sanding our boats for no-fear of getting decals to put back on our boats.
So I'll leave it at that and wait for my 'package' to come by FEDEX.
Oh, by the way----Your Welcome Tim and glad you liked 'em.!!!

Marty, you dont need me to tell you, but small details like that really pull a package together nicely. Well done! I spent countless hours in photoshop/paint making a set like that for my '90, for as far as I know, no one offers a font like that to match. I would think there is a market for those types of reg decals! That would be a very nice addition to the CCF store, IMHO.
I still owe you a photo of the trailer decals- Ive got them all together, just have to swing by my trailer with a camera!

No name on the font. Let me ask my 2 sources what they call it. I know one of my guys free-hands all this stuff.
Thanks again for the compliments and yell if anyone wants that style of registration #'s.

I was hoping you were watching. You know how many "grins" all you kids brought to my face over the years? Or how cool it is to be remembered by some of you guys..even after you've grown up? I guess I still owe you a few.
Gonna see you and the family next month?
Yeah...I can believe it is 50 for your Mom and Dad. Me and Patti have been here for 6 years already. Don't know where the time is goin'.

What will a set of those registration numbers cost? I'm planning a wet sand and resticker of my rig this winter and will want to resticker then.

Well guys, the e-mail was from the Ashland Corporation. I told him what I did to my boat for the Masters, and now other CCFans are doing their boats and need some decals. But these decals are getting scarce so he said he was sending me 20 packs(100 decals in each pack)He said he is glad to help me and all CCFans in trying to do the best for their boats and keeping the CC name alive! SO I have all these gold bars at my disposal. I'm thinking about sending some Keith's way and letting him decide what to do with them. Thanks again guys and remember all you have to do is ask or write, they can only say No, not at this time, go jump off a cliff, or like me ,hit the pot of GOLD!
ps. yes I see the suttle difference PeteB. They're new ones they printed up and they are a tad different. But I think close enough that not many people can tell!

Cool decals by the way. You've been hanging round American Pickers too much haven't you?

Believe it or not, my vinyl peps say it's Black Arial Font.
They just tell the computer to do a left or right 15' slant, then they drag the top or bottom to get the 'wave' effect. Awesome, to watch it work. I wish I had a program in my pc like that.
