"Crickets chirping..."

...Obviously not a lot of Hockey fans here... I can't say I'm a diehard fan of any one team, but you can't hardly beat the Stanley Cup playoffs in general. Those guys put it all out there every game.

What a great series it was! Imagine had last nights game been a game 7 in Chicago, that would have been epic!!

Was fortunate enough to attend game 3 vs the Sharks, the UC was rockin that night!

May wander over and check out the Parade tomorrow.

Maybe this will spark some interest, members of the Blackhawks Ice Crew:

My Pens were out this year....so of course I was rooting for the Hawks the rest of the way! What a game that was...
I'm a Pittsburgh fan and as the saying goes, my blood runs black/gold. That said, I love the fact that Chicago, the Hawks team and the hockey fans are joining together the way we do - feels great to see that.
Congratulations to the Hawks, Chicago and all of the Hawks fans! You deserved the cup this year!

Michelle,

Certainly remember the 92' Penguins who swept our Hawks in the Finals!!

Scott,

Totally agree, it all falls in with the complete turnaround Rocky Wirtz has made with the entire organization!

Pretty crazy downtown today, it's like a Sea of Red.

My wife said it was standing room only on the train this morning because of everyone going to the parade, and she gets on the train in Naperville at 8:00.

Isn't that a WONDERFUL feeling?! Thanks for posting, Quinner. We get the day off paid for "big wins". That way we can all go to the parade. But then again we get first two days of buck season off paid haha!

If you're talking about Hossssssaaaa...yeah, I had to remind myself that I liked the team "The Hawks" - one bad egg doesn't ruin the entire team.

Chelle', Good call on Hossa! Another (maybe) is in the first bus picture, is that Scotty Bowman just above the "CBOE" on the side of the bus??

Going to be a crazy train ride home tonight!!

The Wings and Black Hawk game 7 was THE playoff game.
Since the Black hawks won I was pullin for them to take it all.

I have to admit I didn't mind seeing the win getting yanked out from under Boston. Poetic justice I guess since that's what Boston did to Toronto in game 7. They shouldn’t have even gotten that far.

Well, they swept the Penguins ( and made a laughing stock out of the NHL's "dream team") so the I guess the Penguins shouldn't have made it as far as they did either?

Boston and Chicago both played fantastic playoff hockey and both deserved to be in the finals. While it was painful to see my beloved Bruins fall apart in the third period, it is what it is. Boston should have won that game as they controlled most of it. I guess the Barackhawks just wanted it more. I would've loved to see game seven between these two teams. Either team could have won. It was a great series.

and since you use a new teleportation method within the Citadel (comparable to in Ulduar) you shouldn't need restoration spiders from the raid.

Doc - Your transition from Hockey season to lake season is nice. With no more hockey, my guess is your headed to the lake much more often now. It's a win to me.

What lake do you call home? We take a few weeks up in the Mecosta / Canadian Lakes areas each year.
