Where would the engine ID stamp be on the 351 (82SN)?
Also, where is the best place to connect the vacuum gauge? The pcv valve? Thanks!

Not sure about the engine stamp. However, on the vacuum question, there is a hex head bolt/screw at the back center of the intake manifold (behind carb). I hook mine up there. I believe that is a good spot to tap in to get a good vacuum reading.
I would be interested in hearing what kind of reading you get. Also, make sure your engine is warmed up first. You will get a better/more accurate reading.

If the stamp is like mine, then it is on an aluminum tag bolted to the intake, aft of the carb.
