Steve, do you have the bow eye? The one on our BFN is bent. Shoot me a pic and a price if youve got it- a few measurements would help to confirm that its the same as what we've got as well.

Thanks!

Okay, great. I have no idea if they'd look right on a '74 Martinique, but thought you could post some picts so I could compare. If they appear to look right and work, what would you want for them?

Pete,
I decided to "leave" the boat at, .....errr......in Green Lake. remember that lake IS 270 feet deep!

actually, right now the 'carb guy' said he would rebuild another carb N/C.   Soooo, will probably start with that, then try and 'freshen-up' one of my spare dizzys for it.

Robb,
I checked the horns with a 12V battery, and they do work. They are marked Signaltone on the back. The chrome is probably average for their age...minor pitting and some "crazing". Can get pics in the next couple days if interested.

Steve:

If these are the original dual trumpet horns then I would be interested in seeing some pictures. I am trying to determine if the Southwind's horns are the same for a Martinique or Mustang for that matter. My guess is that they are.

What year is the Southwind?

I'm pretty sure they are still on the boat, not sure if I should split them from a whole windshield tho?

I have, and it looks like a very nice system. I'm planning on prodding around for a bit this winter to see if I can get off a bit cheaper while the boat is in storage. But, come March I will have a shaft one way or another.

Not really .. had about an inch of rain, turned to ice , then 3 or 4 inches of snow. That coupled with 55-60 mph winds was good for no power for a day.
