That's a nice car Mike. If it were a 4 door, I'd be over to get it.
Automatic or stick?

You'll be happy to know that we're shopping for 4th gen (06-10) Ford Explorers. I have a 97 with 188k on it and love it...

Really impressed with Ford Co. last few years. It actually seems they give a damn about their product and customers. No Government Motors for me :)

PS according to cnnmoney.com the Camry is the most American made automobile followed by the Accord...

Slightly more money but while we are on the subject I really want to sell this and maybe upgrade the boat to one with a tower.

Did you have any transmission problems with your explorer? I have an 02 xlt explorer with the v8. The trans crapped out on me at 85K miles and I'm told that this is not unusual. I currently have 127K miles on it and its in good shape. I'd like to get 200K out of it and am hoping the replaced trans will cooperate. I got a 100K mile warranty on the trans when I replaced so we'll see. Other than that, it's been a decent car.

We got hosed on the trade in for the accord. But the place we took it offered us 2k more than anywhere else so we had to make it happen. Plus we got a good deal on this explorer, even know the original owners through a good fellow Nautique owner friend. Here is a good pic of the new explorer:

Me too, except the distance is not the problem, it's the price! I want a '98 SN some day and I like his colors.

Trust me Kevin, By the time I can afford to upgrade, mine will be old and affordable. Couldn't just sell the car, so I had to take a trade.

at least I'm keeping the black & gray thing going
