Howdy, I've owned a 66 Wildcat with a 401 Buick for several years but usually only run it one or two weeks a year. I need help with adjusting the shifter and throttle cables (seems to shift into gear at too high an rpm), impeller replacement, and other mundane things. I've done several searches on here but don't seem to find specifically what I'm looking for (probably bad search phrases on my part). I am wondering if anyone has put together a "newbies manual" or website that addresses the most common questions related to the older CC's. I belong to a Corvair club that actually printed a manual such as this.It gotr rid of a lot of the posts that simply point out that the questions from the nebies have been answered before. I'fd even be interested in any commercial publications that are specific to these old boats. Thanks. Sorry for the wordy post.
