Frank on this site has made some pads. I don't know if he has any mor efor sale.

N3 Boatworks has had pads for sale on their site. I have bought 2 sets and they seem decent to me, although I have heard they yellow. Mine haven't yet.

I can make some additional pads if you need them. Just let me know. Trims are hard to come by.

Brent,
I'd like for you to call or email Jim Staib at http://www.finewoodboats.com/ - Fine Wood Boats and tell him you're looking for step pad frames. Tell him these are the cheap Perko zinc die cast and give him the inside dimensions of the actual frame where it meet's the rubber. Sorry but my X (same frames) is up north so I don't have the dimensions.
Now, Jim is quite a "scrounger", always has a table/booth set up at all the wood boat shows and seems to always find the hard stuff. I'll bet he'll even know the part number of the Perko frames!!!

Well if I can ever get a-hold of one, I'm gonna take it to him and see what he can do one for. So far the Chrome Step Pad Trim Plates, he can do in Stainless Steel and electro-polish them for like $250 a set- that's quoted for just 3 sets. So the price would drop if I can get more people to commit to a set.

You will find that these are the correct dimensions for what you need, the screw holes will not line up.

Just replace the black pad with Franks.

Come on Gary! not the correct Perko part. Let's keep things original!!

Yes, Marty has got the machine shop quote to duplicate the originals but it sounds like he needs more buyers.

Pete,

You're telling me that the original castings are still available? Not in the Perko catalog. I looked hard for originals for the Barracuda.

If they're still out there, show me.

Gary,
I never said they were still available. It's probably been at least 10 years since I've seen them for sale.

What I did say is the ones you linked, are not the correct ones.
