I'm sure there is someone out here who has put in new battery cables for their '2001. What length did it take for each cable. Looks like the positive cable needs to be a foot or so longer. Also, is there a trick to getting them out...or just unhook them and fish them through? Should I pull some fish tape or a rope thru or do they feed thru easy enough?
Thanks!

I think just tape the new ones to the old ones before you pull.

Haha yeah Joel I was just reading through your thread on the cables from a while back, I was trying to find suppliers. I've already numbed myself to it...I'm expecting around $80. It's around $5/ft for 2/0 cable.
I think I saw you mention your's were 8 foot cables...was that for your 2000?

Yep, that was for the 2000. Still working great- no corrosion or anything.

Actually the thread I mentioned of Joels, you were the one who threw up this source Chris. Don't know if it's where you got your's for $40..if so they've upped their prices.

Seems like the price is pretty on par, plus they can terminate the ends for you, which is nice.
I've also ran across this.

Those are good options, mine was my neighbor who was in charge of purchasing for Rinker Boats at the time he is now in charge of Quality control due to Godfrey marine buying the company. And actually it might have been twenty bucks for the pair.
