Looking for a good replacment. Anyone have any experience with either of these? Any suggestions?

Teleflex Universal for $30

Or

Moeller Marine Electric Fuel Tank Sending Unit (6" to 12" Deep Tanks) for $27.60 + free shipping

I'm leaning towards the Moeller unit as it closely resembles my OE in tank. Looks like the Moeller doesnt come with a gasket (they want $13 extra for gasket and screws) My original gasket is no good ~ gotta have a positive seat to keep from going boom.

"universal" will not work in the '90-'96 tanks, probably more.

Buy the real one from N3 or Whitelake.

What? Silicone what holes? Silicone and Gas? What are you driving? A bomb on the water? Extremely poor advise to post to others. Remind me to not be within in 1000 feet of your boat. How's you bilge blower work? I will delete this post IF you delete your's due to the poor advice. NEVER put our half ass'd shade tree mechanic advice when it comes down to safety. Being blunt here, you have made a major mistake and you should NOT be on the water with that boat.

What else have you hacked up????
