I am looking to purchase a 98 Air Nautique and was wondering if it would fit on a 91 ski nautique trailer?

I think the trailer maaay be a smidge short... 91 ski = 19.6ft 98 air = 21.6ft
...if I'm not mistaken. The experts will give the exact answer. :)

Can you get it on the trailer? Perhaps.
Will it fit properly? No

Youre probably right, Brian. Both boats have the same beam (91") so it should fit width-wise and support the boat under the stringers properly... but the extra foot or so of length on the Sport will probably put the engine far back enough to lighten up the tongue weight too much. This is assuming the '91 Ski Nautique trailer in question was made by Correct Craft- the bow stop on that vintage trailer is not adjustable.
