Hi,

Does anyone know if a 79 SN had any kind of raw water filter or strainer between the oil cooler and the engine mounted raw water pump? Looks like some one installed one in the past and it sure doesn't look like it belongs. No secure mount or attachment brackets and almost impossible to get to.

Thanks, john

Correct Craft installs them before the tranny cooler, I don't know if some have brackets, my Excel does not. Might be good to move it to the other side of your tranny cooler since those things seem to be debris magnets.
