We all meet Roger and Kristof for the very first time this weekend at the GL reunion. They had been on site posting for quite some time but that really never gives you a idea of the "real" person until you meet them face to face. Here's Roger and Kristof showing up together only because they both connected with each other on their flights from overseas. WOW, talk about personality differences!!!! Nothing bad mind you but in my mind opposites! It wasn't me who "coined" the term " the Odd couple" but immediately after meeting them I felt it was very appropriate. Definitely a Felix and Oscar couple!!!

Roger is the very reserved and quite type while Kristof is the BEYOND outgoing type! As mentioned is another thread, I wonder if he would be the same way if he had brought his wife along?

Both absolutely fantastic CCfan people to meet!! Yes, part of the CCfan family!!

Pete...And, like the early 70's tv sitcom in which Felix and Oscar shared an appartment, our two European friends also shared a room at the Lakeside Hotel (aka...the Waldorf). Both very nice guys. We held court every evening and morning at the patio table at the Lakeside with the UK, Kristof BFNowner (James Bragg) and his brothers, Keith, Monty, and a few others. Quite the crew! A great time!

Roger.....It was great to meet you! Thank you for bringing over the British ales. I got the Bishops Finger. Can't wait to ice it down to give it a try Okay, I know its supposed to be served at room temp or slightly below, and thats how I will drink it. Hope you made it back to London with no issues.
