It is actualy a bimini top but your description will get more attention. I presure washed one with good results and then re-applyed water proofing with a spray. I have no idea if this is recommended, just that it worked for me.

For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

LOL,
Bikini, linguine , fettuccine.

If it won't scrub clean with a vinyl cleaner, you can use a vinyl spray paint and get it looking acceptable.

Tom
Unless his bikini is made of vynil I wouldn´t use any paint at all...its probalby sunbrella or like fabric...the pressure wash I guess it´s gonna work...
then the 3m scothguard is a nice product to give the fabric a water repelant coat...

You should take better care of your swimware.

Yeah, it would need to be vinyl to use a paint like that.

If it is a fabric like sunbrella, maybe it could be dyed, but if the dye runs, guess where it drips.

I'm sure there is some sort of paint for use on a fabric like sunbrella that would work at least for the short term.

if you can't get it clean then try to re-dye it but then the spots might still be there too, just a thought. If you remove the ends on the braces, you should be able to slide off the fabric and through it in the washing machine.
