If you click to read the rest of the story, the second headline is "man fights off beaver". That reminds me of a story an uncle told me years ago about snapping beavers...maybe this was one?
Another angle is that this happened in Forsyth and not in Cocktail Cove. Could this mean that we have a racist beaver? And will PETA get involved?
