I've had my '77 Nautique for about eight years and luckily didn't winterize the motor this year. I say luckily because if I had, I would never have seen the severe stringer damage that was lurking beneath. The thing was one hard hit from being a giant fishtank ornament...at the bottom of a giant fishtank! Anyway, I've seen all of the stringer repair threads, so I got that under control (laugh behind my back now). The best optoin so far for motor replacement seems to be a remanufactured longblock, but thought I'd ask if anyone here has a line on a decent 351 winsor goofy foot (thats reverse rotation). Just looking to save $$$ anywhere I can since I just spent a grand with u.s.composites. Ouch. Great site. Good to be here. Where's the SE reunion?!

There isn't an official SE reunion but we an unofficial on the St. Johns river in Astor Fla. every Feb/March. It's affectionately known as "The River Run" and it has several posts with pics. Do a search you'll find it.

Tim, we have locked in the dates for River Run 2011........
The last full weekend in March.
This will fit well for the Mt. Dora boat show.
Starting Thursday nite and ending sometime after Sunday.
Woody will be there along with any Corporate people we can get on board again this year.
Mr. Ralph Maloon, Bud Sellers and Art Cozier were all guests that added so much to the "Run" last year.
As has been the past years, the plan is "NO PLAN".....
Keith has also allowed the use of the site for reg. and collecting the money.....

I have an '07(I think)complete 305 GM multiport rated 275 hp with bellhousing in my garage. It was used by CC Engineering to see how a particular boat would perform with it and then put on the shelf. I bought it about a year ago, and haven't thought much about selling it, but probably would. I need to get it out and fire it up to make sure everything is good and scan the memory for hours. It's missing a couple of external parts, brackets and such, but that's easy to solve. Call if you are interested; you can reach me at my cell at 407 760 1249.

Hi Art,
I may be interested in your engine. Is it a PCM, what rotation, How complete is it, will a velvet drive attach to the bellhousing?
