Eh guys,
I'm in Shawnigan Lake BC just north of Victoria. Born and raised here. Got a couple of kids that have "convinced" me to look for an older Ski Nautique. So were on the hunt for a project boat that hopefully we can find not too far from home. I build hot rods for a living and am a welder/ fabricator so I aint afraid of a little project, or a big one too!
Heres my tow vehicle... its a '66 Mercury Crew Cab, the wifes daily til her new hot rod is done which is a '60 Nomad wagoon
and this is my daily driver... '35 Ford Phaeton
So if anyone knows of a decent little project not too too far from us let me know please!
BTW this is a great site, lots of info and looks like lots of great people... and boats too!!

Shiny, good luck with your search. From the looks of your daily drivers I am sure you will be able to handle it. Really like the old Merc pickup as we don't see them too often stateside.

Craigslist is going to be a good bet for you, although there are a couple of boats on this site in the Wash state area .... here is a 66 in seattle... may not be your style though http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/boa/1903584768.html - 66 mustang - Seattle

Papa, ya Mercs are gettin a lil thin up here, especially these crew cabs.
Hopefully maybe a fellow BC Nautique owner will spot this thread and know where theres one sitting!
I have a few leads out already around my lake!
