I got word this morning that a colleague and friend was in the hospital...ICU. He crashed on his Dad's Harley yesterday and sustained very serious head trauma. He has no brain activity or eye movement. I went to the hospital and it doesn't look good. The last we've heard the doctor is discussing options with the wife and family and they are probably going to be faced with a very tough decision.

Please keep the family in your prayers.

They took him off life support this morning and he was pronounced dead not long after that. The family is really grief strucken right now and they have a tough road ahead. Also, he was really close with a lot of guys at work and they were almost like a second family. I've been spending the morning chatting with each one of them individually...one of the toughest days of my career.

Please keep everyone in your prayers. Thanks for the prayers so far.

So sorry Andy -
3 years ago my best freind was killed on his motorcycle. I still ride my bike but I will always ride solo.

Again I'm so sorry.

Something positive to share. He was an organ donor and several people have already been matched up with organs.

The funeral is today. Hopefully this will be a milestone for friends and family to really begin the healing process.

The one thing I am most saddened about is that I am almost positive he was not a Christian.
