I have the refrigerator from Hell (GE bottom freezer - don't buy one) & I have to take it apart & use a heat gun on the condensate drain every 2 months.
Have had about 4 service calls on it - the 1st time they replaced the blower, which really hadn't failed.
Each service call the guy gives me a little more info. Got frustrated & called them again today.
Well he finally shows me the real problem - it has soaked foam!
The evaporator sits on styrofoam & it is saturated.
He said the only thing I can do is to improve this is to keep the drain pan waxed - he recommended Collinite.
Go figure!

So with all that wet foam how are the stringers?

This refrigerator may become an artificial reef soon - like the USS Oriskiny!
