I am going to flush my tranny and replace the fluid. I've always had a shop do it. I'll have no problems but I can't find the capacity or amount of fluid I should use.

The boat is a 1987, 2001. It has the standard 351 and original transmission. Anybody know how much fluid I should use or where I can find out?

Tim - Have you looked at the manuals in the reference section? Use one that covers a Borg Warner tranny.

If nothing else, put back in the same amount as you take out. That's what I do.

Use Dextron III.
