Hey Seb,
How far are you from some town named Los Barriloches? The reason I ask is they are hosting the international kite boarding event from the 1st thru the 6th. Are you going to see it? If so, say hello to Brian Lake who will be competing. He may be my future son-in-law!!

Seb,
Wow, that is quite a distance from you!! I should have looked it up on a map first. Sorry about the spelling.
Brian is flying into BA on thursday and then did say something about a long bus trip! He also said this was going to be a "cold water" event. It shouldn't bother him since he boards up north in Wisconsin untill the lakes freeze over or open up. He's sponsored by both a board and kite manufacturer and understand he's quite good at it. I do wonder what direction in life it will take him though. It is a concern of mine with the relationship he has with my daughter!

Pete
If he happens to be during the weekend in BA i can take him out boating. No compromise my cel phone 1552269842 (if dialed from a local fixed phone).
So he´s doing the bus trip...18hs almost....long trip.
Back in the old days when I was deep into wakeboarding and travelled to brazil, and europe to compete.
BTW if someone ever consider coming south to Bariloche..I have this close friend that has this nice www.sanantoniobariloche.com.ar - villa for rent ...private beach, lake view, etc, etc. Only 30 from Bariloche.

Seb,
Brian just informed me of his schedule and he won't be back to BA for the weekend. He and I do thank you big time for the offer. He would have loved it even though his family owns MC's. A 1990 190 and a "stars and stripes".

Not that there's anything wrong with that

Seb,
Once again thanks. It's really a great offer and due to the great CCfan familey we have going!
Brian's still at the house here. His trip/flight was delayed a day. The high winds have got the airport and flights backed up by a day!! I hope the delay doesn't screw up that 1100 mile bus trip he was supposed to catch!

Seb,
Brian just rolled in the door from his very interesting trip. He didn't spend more than a couple hours in BA so he said he didn't have the chance to call you. The worst part of the trip he said was the "damn" bus ride!! Very long, windy, storms and drivers that weren't the greatest (I understand one kept on driving off the road and onto the shoulder!!) made it even more interesting! I asked him about the food and he wasn't very excited! This of course is something I feel lots go through when they travel into a different country.
The good news is he placed 5th out of 50 in the tournament. He would have placed 4th but it seems one of the events there was a judging problem. It was a close finish and even though there were participant witnesses, the judges favored someone from another SA country!! I guess that happens all over the world as well!
