Last week my vette started in a sudden to idle poor..under acceleration it will run like a champ, but coasting and at idle in wanted to die or run rough..IMHO the carb and edelbrock is a little to rich..plugs were accels and almost 4 years old..and about 3000 miles on them..so I decided to replace them...after that in run fine again..
adn I did some plug chop with some I took out...is this the correct way to do it?
let me know as I have some more to do it the rigth way...

I broke one when taking it out...tight space between the header and inner skirst...

Kapla do you have a closeup pic on the electrodes? did you check the gap?
It wouldnt surprise me at this time of the year the carb needing a few adjustments in the air mix.
