Hi guys i am looking at an 1999 pro air nautique. I am just looking for any feedback on the boat, was it a decent boat looks like they only used the hull the one year. I do realize the super airs are v-drive the next year. Does any body know of any major problems/defects with these? It has the GT40 engine and about 100 hours. I intend to use it for boarding, tubing and skiing. Just looking for your opinion. Thanks

The Pro Airs have the TWC hull and were available 99' thru 01' or 02'.
Take a look in the 99' brochure in the reference section as it shows both the TWC and TSC hulls. IIRC read something about the TWC hulls having issues with Perfect Pass and the slalom wake is a bit rough.
100hrs is really low, that's only about 8 per season average, not necessarily a bad thing as long as it was cared for and stored properly every year.
Had a 99' Air which is virtually the same boat with a different hull, had almost no issues thru 5 seasons, ballast pumps and depth gauge were somewhat problematic and the slightest sign of weeds would take down one or both speedo's, otherwise it was a great boat.

Thanks for the info. One more question will the newer flight control towers ie 00 ,01, 02 etc fit the 99 pro air? I really don't care for the tower looks like it could be used on a building site.

It will fit, but will require new sets of holes to be drilled.

And most likely former holes to be filled.

You must be drinking out of some really small cups...

HW, you have to stop drinking that 100* stuff.
Or maybe you were thinking about the Regal style cup holders.
I just had too, on that one....
