Well guys, my friend Charlie, is becoming quite a regular with Mike and Frank within the past 6 months. He called them the other week to see if they wanted to be in a movie, being filmed here in Denton,NC.
It's another movie about Auto Racing and it's origination here in NC.
They're filming at the ole Brisco Homestead in Denton. This cat was a racer back when Ralph Earnhardt was racing. He has just about every ones race car who was a racer back then.
All original cars that were raced, he owns at least 2 of these cars from every driver.
He has a bunch of Richard Petty's earlier cars and some of Lee Petty's cars.
The film crew and production company, from Los Angeles,California, say they have fell in love with this area.
It was off limits to people that wasn't in the movie, but Charlie has the photos posted on his facebook page. Charles Reihs is his name. But maybe you can find him by putting in the movie he was in Red Dirt Rising.
There's a country singer that did some songs for the movies and he's pretty tight with her now.

Charlie said Frank and Mike had a ball driving the cars. The NC State Patrol, blocked off the state road and let them take those race cars and drag them on it. Frank beat Mike twice but let him take the 3rd race.
They even raced in Ralph Earnhardt's 1st car that he ever owned and built. They've taken him on a few picks out in Kentucky with them.
I'll see if I can get some pics from him.
