Just caught the tail end of a Ester Williams movie ""Easy To Love". Must have been some corny love story but the water ski scenes were fabulous. 8 Correct Crafts, multiple skiers, multiple jumping, all in rough water. Definately some special effects but it was from the 50's. Pretty cool!

I've got a DVD with just the waterski scene. I just watched it yesterday as one of my kids was home from college. It is pretty amazing. It must have taken weeks to make.

Was Esther some kind of hottie in the 50s? She doesn't seem too bad, definitely gets douched at 3:20. Cool skiing.

She was a competitive swimmer that got into movies. I had never seen the skiing one before and didnt know she did that, but the movies she starred in had huge synchronized swimming type extravaganzas with a zillion bathing beauties and fountains and exotic routines. Big deal in its day.

A head forward double deepwater!

About 1/4 of the way in there was a boat running to the towboat's starboard that was churning mud. Reminds me of something I can't quite put my finger on.
