OK guys. Done this a couple of times before. Anyone want to tell me what this pic is of and what 'Fictional'character made this place famous.
Give me the Actual name of this place and the name that was used in the program. Decals are your PRIZE !! Yes everyone plays, but some of you really should be 'exempt' from this one and you know who you'd be. People from the same state IE as the pic. I'm from Michigan but I drove that "road" in November/December and saw the first snow of the year. - So I'm out but greedy I still want a prize!!!

You don't even have to do that much work!! Marty,funny you posted that picture. When I was out in NC in December I saw a travel brochure for it in the hotel! Caught my eye since Iowa has a few famous covered bridges. Wasn't too far from Lake Norman! ------------- |

Yes Chris, 2 different bridges. Bunker Hill, in Catawba County, the other about 20 miles from me, Pisgah . It was lifted off it's foundation by a flood and the Zoo, tore it apart and rebuilt it. I think they have the control over it now.
As for that 1st pic---It's Pilot Mtn, in Pinnacle,NC--Mt.Airy. Yes Andy Griffith made it famous and was called Mt.Pilot on that show, Andy Griffith was born in Mt.Airy,NC for those of you who didn't know. Also The Snappy Lunch is an awesome place to eat!! Eric Lavine give me your mailing address-- cause you said Mt.Pilot.
