Key,
That same wheel was used on quite a few other year models. Keep your eyes open. One will show up.

Is there any after market steering wheels that would fit?

There are a ton of aftermarket wheels that would fit. CC used Teleflex Big-T rotary helms, which featured a (very) common 3/4" tapered, keyed shaft.
I think the original poster is trying to find an original wheel, though. They can be tough to find- the center cap and bezel seem to pit and corrode fairly easily, so finding nice used parts is somewhat difficult.

IMP boats used the same wheel. However some are splined some are keyed.
Marine salvage yards are usually full of IMP's

Gary, are you talking about the ones that BJ fabbed up? I inquired once and he didnt make any extras. He was going to find out what it would cost to make more but I never heard back (though I didnt follow up)... but it didnt sound cheap!

This is the one I replaced, the new one is part # 10830 from N3 Boatworks and last year when I bought it,it was $10. I think it was Alan (81 nautique) who told me to check with them after I had asked about rechroming the one below.10 bucks would not even cover shipping to rechrome!

Wow, no fooling Gary. Its not listed on their website- I bet they'd sell a lot of them if they were advertised! Its one part I never thought to ask about.

That Dave is a testament to the PO's mechanical ability,so there is someone lower than a Hobbyist. Notice below their handywork on the waterhose on the pump, they did the exhaust the sameway
