Kind of slow around here today so I had to go elsewhere to get my fix. Stumbled on to http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=130864 - this thread . Lots of good old boat pics. Not CCs and it does get a little heavy into unlimited hydros in the middle which dont excite me, but I enjoyed flipping through it. Some good stuff. Surprised to see my tique show up in a pic on page 12.

“Well, let me see…sun burn, stiff neck, screwed up back, assorted aches and pains….yup, my weekend was great, thanks for asking.”

I remember the name Miss Bardahl. Didn't ABC's Wide World of Sports feature hydro racing way back when? Was Bardahl an engine additive?

Bruce , I did not think you were old enough to remember Bardahl Motor additive. Just add it to your crankcase, no more stickey valves. Back then it was called an upper cyl. lubricant. Not much call for it now.......

It hurt my head to remember it, but I remember it. All the drag cars in Hot Rod magazine used to sport Bardahl stickers.

I remeber as a kid building models of those SK flat bottom boats. It was the only boat model shy of a battleship you could buy. The models even included a scale pair of skis.
