Working with sponsors now. That will be the big deciding factor. With alot of it coming from Lewisville, courtesy would say do it there. However if they did not care (and Riley would tow), Murray would be so much better of a venue and not really any further for most. I am also trying to coordinate / host a barefoot clinic around the same time so persons traveling could also take advantage of that too. ------------- ...those who have fallen and those who will. |

OK - Lets get cracking on this thing!!!!!! A few of the guys from the PN site are talking about creating a N. Texas Correct Craft/Nautique club. We could make this a pretty big deal if we can get enough people.

Hey Ryan, were doing the Lake Murray thing again, May 13 - 15th. Probably the only chance I'll have to head that direction with the boat this summer, pretty booked up already on my days off Hope to see you up there again, and anyone else is welcome as well. If you haven't been, it's worth the trip, only about an hour and a half north of DFW right off I35. There's never many people around so there's usually some water somewhere, last year was the best we've seen with barefoot water at 3 o'clock on Saturday afternoon. We set up camp at Buzzards Roost, but Ryan has a cool little camp ground and ramp by his house on the other end of the dam, I would rather stay over there, but we need a little more space in case we get a large group.

They have redone most of the camp grounds to enclude individual hook-ups at each site. They have also built very nice play grounds for the kids. I visited some friends at Cedar Cove and was very impressed with the sites which also have somewhat private sandy beaches. Hello Ryan, Kell, Don. Nice to see the effort are back on the track. I don't mind the place. My three favorite would be Lewisville, Granbury, and Murray. The date open except for end of June - early July. I will be in Australia and New Zealand. I will keep track.

I planned to go a long time ago but my daughter graduation is on Saturday so I have no option.  I'm bummed about that. That's must be awesome to ride on the competition boat.

I cant take off last weeks of every month. I am swapped with inventory and end of month financials but mid ausgust or first of september I am in. | Very short notice for a reunion, but we'll be at Lake Murray on May 18-20. At this point I'm planning on taking the boat and have been talking with Scott (Chexi) on PN about coming up too. If it looks like the weather they're expecting today I'll be there without the boat, won't make the final descision until Wendesday of that week. Might be better as a gathering rather than a reunion, less planning. |

I realize a months notice is a bit short, but like Ryan I have plans for June. I try to keep the traveling to once a month because it usually requires a day or to off if I'm going farther than a local lake. A Texas reunion would probably be better around Austin so that everyone would travel a more equal distance. That way you could get those from Houston involved as well. I know there are lots of CC around Austin, but I don't see too many on the forums. Since the majority of people online seem to be in DFW area and NE TX , Murray is a day trip for most. I think if we could a small crowd somewhere that I could get Sail & Ski involved in Austin the following year if we wanted to do something in Central Texas They provided us with a pair of 230's last fall for a foil tournament even though the majority of foilers in TX have Tige's. |

Grandbury?? A.K.A. "The Prop Eater". I have had countless friends trash their boat and underwater gear on that lake. The river is good, but has been taken over by "wake rats". Infectious little buggers.
