I had to boat out last week and noticed that there is a small leak at the elbow on the riser, which is plastic. Can I replace the plastic with this

Also where can I get new plugs (the others are not brass and are heavily deteriorated, I want to replace them with brass.

Thanks

Yes, that elbow is exactly what you need. PCM started using brass fittings at some point in the 80's I believe.

Thanks. I am unable to find the 3/4" NPT 3/8" socket plug. I can only find the 3/4" NPT plug. Will this fit without hitting the underside of the riser?

*EDIT*

I did find this http://store.gaugemagazine.com/brass-pipe-plug-allen-3-4-npt.aspx - >LINK<

How did those parts, plugs and Elbows work for you?

They worked great. I would recommend getting a tap to run the treads in the riser to clean things up a bit. They were a bit tough to get started but my risers were a bit rusted. Once I got them started they went in with no problem.

Has anyone ever sand blasted the insides of the manifolds and them coated them with good paint? Like POR15. Wonder if it is worth it or how long it would work?
