Home made at the factory!!! I don't even think Coosa had been invented yet. Take a look in the reference section. The brochure shows what was done. Fiberglass "U" channel for the basic "stringer" and then foam filled.
Kirk,
Why as you asking? A project in mind? I'm curious!!

I remember these old ads from 1983 when mastercraft went with what they referred to as fiberglass stringers.
The 93 CC brochure Pete refers to shows similar construction.

Well mine is a 89 and I'm just planning ahead. My boat for the most part is stored out of the water when not in use but it has seen its share of water
I've been reading everything I can about stringer replacement and leaning towards no wood. It looks like the new age stringers are all fiberglass now.
I have never been to CC in Florida and when you watch their factory tour from the website its hard to seen what they attach the cradle to but I'm guessing its all fiberglass?

Is their some one on this site that works at CC? I was wondering if there is a photo of the current day stringers?
