When I replaced my heads last summer one of the exhaust manifolds was in bad shape. Finally got it to the local machine shop and they patched it up, pressure tested it and cleaned up the surfaces. Thought I would share the pictures.

to mount it to the lathe...same diameter...

Do you mean the mill? I wouldn't what to be swinging that manifold on a lathe!

The manifolds go thru some tough conditions with the heat from the engine and water sitting in them. I have never seen one patched up. Never know, you might get another 10 years out of them.
