My boat is missing the skeg, from the looks of it I only had one. Its a 72 mustang. Soes anyone know what this will do to my turning ability. Where and how much for a new one? Thanks for the help.

I have a '77 Martinique without skegs and a '93 SN with skegs. Comparing the two, the '77 slides in turns significantly compared to the '93. I believe this is mostly constributable to the skegs (and to a lesser extend the small "V" in the middle of the hull on the '93). So, even one skeg will improve the handling of the boat. I replaced two out of the three skegs on my '93 SN during the restoratin and remember paying $85.00 for each from CC dealer.
