What part of the steering cable do you measure? The sheath? End to end?
Just wondering, I don't have access to an '85.

Correct Craft did it's best to screw us again.
If you get a teleflex steering cable in even foot lengths it costs about $135.00. To get a cable in the 1/2 foot lengths you have to call a very friendly correct craft dealer and it costs $275.00. Thanks again correct craft.

Can't you just get the 18' and have a very slightly larger radius in the bend from the steering column to where it goes into the floor?

holeshot,
let us know if the 18ft cable works and where you purchased it from. I have a 1987 ski nautique and I am overdue for a steering cable.
