Here is a list of what I am going to be needing for my 1970 Barracuda project.

wooden steps for top of the side of boat and chrome trim around them.

chrome vent covers for stern and bow (3 total)

lock / latch for glove box

windshield and frame

seats

correct craft decals and or trim

and several more things that I can't think of right now.

Please keep me in mind as this is going to be a long project I think

Steve,
Just a few hints for your shopping:

You need the white rubber pads and not the wood. We have a member that makes them. Shop ebay for the frames.

Ebay for the vents - they are standard Perko

Lock for the glove box - hardware store or McMaster Carr - they are called "cam locks"

Windshield and frame will be a tough find. They do come up on ebay occasionally or you'll need to buy anther boat!!

The same with the seats.

No decals back then. It was die cast chrome plated hull "tags" or emblems.

Ok, we need to get you "tuned into" using the reference section and the diaries!!! It doesn't sound like you've been using them for the research needed!! The on site search feature is great too!!

Why do you prefer the rubber steps over the wood?

Steve,
I don't prefer the rubber. I mentioned it because they would be the originals. I thought you wanted to go original?

If you want the wood step pads, I might have a set. I will check my stuff and get back to you.

I found the step pads, I'll put some pictures here to see they are what you are looking for.
