Hey fellas, I just wanted to share about this interesting boat that has been sitting in my neighborhood for many many years. (well before we bought the house) in fact I remember seeing it with my moped gang when I was 14. ANYWAY...it looks like the SS minnow what with it being wood and it's big hole in the side of the hull. I'll try to get pics of it soon. It's a Chris Craft something. It has twin inboard V or D drive not sure. It looks kind of similar to this boat here...any of you know what it might be? If I had too much money and didnt' know what to spend it on I'd buy it and fix it up. It is trashed though now...

Again, this isn't the boat but it kind of has that style.

seems like those old plywood boats were so common just sitting wasting away 10 or 15 yrs ago. here in new england they all look like they are beyond saving i would think in time there will be an interest in saving them but it will probably be too late. I bet they were good boats out of the show room . twin 283 s ? in a lot of them ?   were they lighter than their fiber glass counterparts? I bet there are people on here that spent time on them in the day ..
