I broke the bow light off my 1990 SN. I can't get the base off after removing the one screw. Are there more screws that I am not seeing or what is the trick? Not wanting to break anything else. Thanks for the help!

There are more screws in the base. The top half removes with the 1 screw- take that off, as well as the lens and bulb portion, and a few more screws will be revealed at the base.

After the one screw is out, press up and back towards the stern of the boat and the black piece should come off revealing 2 screws. Then if you turn the clear plastic piece counterclockwise a quarter turn it should come out too. Check the bulb before you buy a new light, it may just be burnt out. On mine it is the same bulb that is in the stern pole light so you could swap to check if you didnt want to buy one.
If you do need to replace the whole thing make sure you pull enough wire out to work with before you cut it and make sure you have it secured. If it falls down in, its a pain to fish it back out. (trust me)

Thanks for the help. I will try pushing back and up. The lens is already gone, that is what I broke off. If I uploaded the pic right, you should be able to see the one screw I am talking about.
And yes I will be needing a new one. I am trying to make my mind up to go back original or smaller sleeker style.
I will be careful with the wires. I don't want to be crawling under the bow to fish the wires back up!

ahh I see what you mean now. So you have removed that screw correct? It must just be stuck if that screw is out along with the other two. Did you take the other 2 out or where they already gone? If they werent there I fear someone has repaired or replaced and possibly glued it down somehow. Also mine had a little rubber adhesive seal thing on the bottom. Maybe try carefully slipping a thin putty knife in to break it loose. I replaced mine with an original and it looks really nice with the original. New plastic was real clear and clean looking, you dont really see any colors until its on. I liked it original. Makes it look like a new boat from the front.

If you do go aftermarket, get something LED so you dont have to replace that would be a nicer upgrade.
