guys need advice

2007, PCM 330 Done 550 hrs, recently noticed heavy oil consumption i.e oil level would read full then after 3 or 4 outings at 3300rpm , level would be at "ADD" . No noticeable oil leak (new pan) or oil in bilge, not checked spark plugs yet but boat runs fine. lots power and oil press seems ok (65 psi at top end speed).

some history, about 8 months ago changed leaky manifolds as I had water in oil

Compression test?

Follow up with a leak down test if compression test comes up low.

Also look for cokeing on the spark plugs (as sign of burning oil).

exhaust smoke colour?
Did you see if it's venting on the valve covers?

sounds to me as some broken rings.
