a video done by a young friend, Eric Bobek, that joined us at Norris this July...........
http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DHitZ4rUpOCE&h=RAQCyUK-1 - Norris Lake
Eric is mainly a boarder as you can tell but we did get him footing on the boom. Tried a few longline steps..close..but no cigar.
crazy guy in the begining is David...grandson of our friend Gene..who we have been skiing with since the '70s. Grave jump and wake crosses were done by Scotty..Gene's son..whom we have always called Teen Idol 'cause he was so popular with the ladies when he was younger. So if you are counting...thats 3 generations of Monahans that we enjoyed Norris with. Gene's son Dan..a member on this site owns the very clean '93 in the video. My nephew Brett was in the flyers...big guy on the left side.
Highlite of my 3 weeks at the Lake? Footin with 2 of my heros...my bro and Ralph Shick. You can catch us on the platform and the short 3 man run was us. So..me at 60..Bill at 68 and Ralph at 72 make a nice round 200 years of footer. Hard to beat...huh?
all in all a great time; skiing, floating, parties on the deck every evening, Christmas in July, seeing multi-generations of the families, chance to see our son, grand-daughter and great-grandson, 35th straight year for me and Patti.
almost forgot to mention...even a visit from a site member...Gary Blackburn and family rode up to see us on our last day. Even got to drive his boat....sweet...fast. Now I gotta figure out how to get Eddie to put a cam in my boat!

Nice video. And nice boats. I like the little 176 that made an appearance.
