(20w oil is brown, ATF is red.) 20w is fine to run... if you can find it. Swapping over to ATF is not a bad idea either. The fluids are compatible, but plan on 2-3 changes to get most of the oil out. If you go that route, stick with conventional (NOT SYNTHETIC) ATF, either Dex/Merc or Dexron III. Avoid high mileage formulations as well... additives are bad. I can usually get about 1.5-2 qts out per change. Capacity is a bit more than that. I use a vacuum pump, but drill pumps work fine too. Use the dipstick hole, not the drain plug. Be careful that you put the extraction hose in the hole straight! -------------
