Here's a quick pic of High Point, North Carolina's landmark- The World's Largest Bureau. Can't find my other pic of it.

Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown, MA. Had a few hours on my own to kill yesterday, so I threw my bike (as in the pedal kind) in the back of the car and made the 1 hour trip to P-Town for a ride through the dunes. You can pack a lot into a short trip there. Maritime views, eclectic main street and beautiful beach/dune vistas.

Looking down commercial street

Race Point Beach

The old Coast Guard Station

The views of the dunes and beach make the somewhat arduous bike trip rewarding

Can't go to P-Town without stopping at the old cottage colony we vacationed at from 1961 to 1965 and paying homage. Funny thing is, it hasn't changed a bit.

“Well, let me see…sun burn, stiff neck, screwed up back, assorted aches and pains….yup, my weekend was great, thanks for asking.”

Nice pics! We did not make it up there this year. The path through the dunes looks like a lot of fun. WIsh I was at the top with my longboard.

Potters Bridge in my hometown of Noblesville, Indiana spanning the White River. As a kid, we used to be able to drive across the bridge. It is closed to car traffic now, but, is still in great shape and open to walk through. It was built back in 1871 and is one of the largest covered bridges in Indiana.

We have the second biggest ball of twine in Cawker city Kansas. It's a lot like getting second at the special olympics. A couple of years back, some high school kids tried to burn it down but I think the twine ball is to soaked with piss to catch fire.
