I tried to search, but the search function keeps locking up on me:
I own an 1986 Silver Nautique and am looking at a 1993 Sport- I assume that the 93 Sport is a large improvement in Slalom wake? Correct? I really would like a 93-95 Ski Nautique and know that would be a HUGE wake improvement, but I am not sure about the 1993 sport since I have never skied behind one. (note: I consider the 1986 SN2001 wake to be "decent")
Thanks,
TD

If you are a longline skier the wake differences will be a wash between the two boats. 22 off bump! well the old 2001 was a brick at 22 off and the sport if kept light will be a little better. After that the Sport will be a better short line boat as long as the crew weight is kept as light as possible. The Sport will trac better in the course or out on the open water with far less spray off the sides.
Don't expect to tower up and add a lot of extras and still have a decent slalom wake. Keep the boat as light as you can and it will provide a decent platform for overall slalom sking.
------------- Hobby Boats can be expensive when the hobbyist is limited on their own skill and expertise.

I usually ski 15off, but you are right, the bump at 22off is absurd! Thanks for the info!
