I'm going to store my Tundra this winter along with the boat.

With my son off to college, we have 4 vehicles for 3 drivers, might as well put the thirsty one to bed.

I am thinking of adding Seafoam to the gas, along with Sta-bil. I don't want to try to fog it through the air cleaner.

Would there be any interaction betweem Stabil & Seafoam, or is that overkill?

I think if you fog it through the air cleaner it will mess up the air flow meter. I've heard some people have ruined them by putting too much oil on their K&N filters and it pulls through to the throttle body. I would just use the stabil, seafoam and the likes are basically strong solvents mixed together.

Thanks Tim - That was my concern, screwing up the MAF sensor.

Fog through the spark plug holes if you really want to, I wouldn't bother though for one winter. I refuse to use Stabil in anything anymore. Pick out a nice day and drive the truck once very other month.

Why is that? I thought it was kind of an industry standard that "everyone" used.

Burn the fuel, or moderate the temperature/humidity to prevent condensation in the tank. I've heard plenty of bad gas problems with "stabiled" fuel. I've seen Stabil itself break down in the bottle.

My #1 recommendation is use the fuel, don't store it. I use Seafoam, else I'd look to Valvetec or Startron.
