It's that time of year ... time to start taking photo nominations for next year's calendar.

Please post photo here for all to see and vote on. If you're nominating your own photo, please email me high resolution versions of the photo ( mailto:keith@correctcraftfan.com - keith@correctcraftfan.com ) with the subject 2012 Calendar.

Be sure to provide boat model and year, photo location, boat owner, photographer and driver (if driver is in photo and different then owner).

Thank you,
Keith

Maybe we can add a title to each photo this year ...

Ex: '8-Man Barefoot' and 'Speed Run' to the two photos above.

Well, I can't believe there aren't more pictures posted already as this topic was brought up about a month ago. Here are a few that I pulled from the various threads that I posted and I have a few more on the camera card to be considered. Thanks Adam for already posting the "Fastest 4banger on the water"!

More to come!

I have to second this one because it's got a GREAT story!

Paul and Jen camped next to us at GL09 and kept in touch afterwards via email and the site. Paul kept telling me how much he loved the colors on our 88 and that a 2001 was his absolute dream boat.

A year and a half later, I found out he parted with his 92 and was possibly looking for a 2001 if the right deal would come up.

The very next day this boat popped up on CL in Waterloo IA. I've seen the boat on lake Delhi for the last 6 years tucked away on a lift. I called the seller immediately and passed the info on to Paul that night. A week later it was in their driveway and will be in the CCF family for life as I've vowed to buy it from him if he ever decides to part with it.

Thanks to Keith for all the work he does and all the friends we've made through CCF.

John,
I agree!1 I think we used up all the "good" pictures on last years calender!!    The only one I can summit is the one Tim took of my "high speed" run in the Atom and I've got a feeling due to the distance the pixels will be an issue due to the needed quality for the calender!

Okay Fans here are a few more pics that I have that might want to be considered. We're familiar with most of these boats and once Keith decides which are calendar worthy then when can give the info needed.

I do realize the one of Marty's Oops has been previously posted but this one is just a little bit different shot and he posted the other one before I could get this one up. I didn't forget you buddy!

Tim, this is the best shot I got of you and Melissa on your high speed run. Gotta fix those graphics man! I love this shot!

Pete, I think you grossly underestimate both Tim's photographer skills and hardware! I have no doubt that the quality of the native photo (prior to resizing for viewing on the forum) of your speed run is more than sufficient for use in the calendar. Tim takes some serious pictures!

Yep, Looks like everyone drives Reids toys but Reid.

In all fairness to reidp I did take a few shots of him ACTUALLY driving. After we got her running right we took her out and then I snapped a few pics then he did the same. After we got done playing and with cold beer in hand he looked at me and said...."Awwww dambit....we had the bimini on!" We then took it off and he went for another run. Unfortunately the sunlight wasn't in our favor and the pics didn't turn out so good. Here's the better shot's!

Keith, have fun narrowing down the field.

Good Call on the Electric Nautique

Skicat, did you stealthily switch boats from a SN2001 to a BFN with the same exact color scheme?

Posted By: JoeinNY

Do not confuse Georgia based Skicat aka Greg, with Texas based Skicat2001 aka Lee. Two different people with similar names and similar color scheme boats.

Certain nice boat/trailer combinations notwithstanding, boats sitting in the water are definitely nicer to look at... but pictures of these boats in motion are even better, IMHO. Canoes sit in the water... these boats look totally different under power. Check out the brochures and see if the marketing folks at CC agree!

That, and, at least in the older days, 20 foot ski ropes so they can fit the skiers in the same close up shot as the boat.

Is that electric boat a lot heavier than the gas 196 of that year? Orange Crush's platform looks a LOT higher than the static boat.

Tim, you ever see me paddle a canoe ??? it's called a "stroke-nautique", lighting fast haha.. Yeah, the machines look good moving or sitting still, but if I have to look at anything else than a babe in a CC, and not some ugly mug for 30 days, I'd be more inclined to buy multiple copies...hence less people..

One of my favorite boats on here has to be Keeganino's...I don't know why, I just love that red and white, and if he doesn't have a good picture of it moving, I know he just restored his trailer earlier this year. Here are two that I poached off the White Lake pics post.

Thanks Peter! Problem is I never have a good enough picture to submit, I wanted to get Picture Pat to take one at the reunion but we never got around to it. I think I may have a decent one I took at GL this year I could submit, I'll have to check when I get home. It's supposed to be nice out this weekend, so I may try to get the boat out one more time. The leaves are just beginning to change around here which would make for a good autumn pic.

^^ I like that blue mustang one too, but it was already in a calendar.

That one's a good example of people in the boat, where it really works well. Of course, I guess you kinda need a least one person in the boat for it to be under power

That's a great photo but was used in the 2010 calendar already.

D - there are several ways to correct size, some use photobucket, etc
my personal preference is to open the picture with Microsoft picture editor (available with the office suite) and use the resize feature under the edit tab.   480 x 640 works perfect. If your photo gets selected for the calendar, you'll need to have the high res photo, so don't save over the original!

I wouldnt mind either. In Kap's boat the closer you have to snuggle up, the better.

We took some good pics while we were out last weekend. These were all taken at Salt Fork Lake. I took the still shots, and my daughter Ashley took the action shots.
