I may regret asking; does anyone know of an old saying that goes something like this- They live so far out in the country that everyone has their own tomcat. ?

No, But I worked with a guy whose parents lived above the bar they owned in town next to a highway, they would go to his Cabin "up North" and complain it was so quiet you could hear a squirrel fart. , Gotta love old people.

Something used in a recent speech from a guy called "Rick Perry"!
Even after reading a little bit more and a few other forum posts I am still confused but heck whatever these isolated farm owners get up to is their business!
How about "couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo" as a great saying

LOL :) If you guys don't understand it I will have no chance...
I did find a whole long thread about the very thing and reading through it seems pretty evident that nobody understood it, there was a suggestion that drink and drugs might have been involved! some of the suggestions were quite funny.

Oops just realized that linking to a Democrat forum about a Republican probably won't help anyone!

Red Eye even did a short segment on it...and shrugged their shoulders. Perry did look a bit lubricated.
I knew we had several Texans here so I took a shot.
