So I got a better pump at Napa and only got 2 quarts out. I tried fishing around for 30 minutes with nothing else but drops, should I call it good and just and the 2 quarts back in, AND is the autozone brand DexIII as good as any or do I need something from napa??

Don, 2 qts is correct for the 1:23 pcm trans. Pretty sure that is the tranny in your boat. You want to be sure and check the level once you put the boat in the water come spring. It could take a touch more.
Good question regarding which brand DexronIII to use. I will look forward to someone else answering that question (I used the Valvoline brand when I did mine).

Thanks Jim, it is the GT 40 in a 95 SN. the manual mentions both a 1:23 and a 1:1 so it's either of those, but it sounds like I got all I need to out! Awaiting the Transmission fluid brand of choice discussion. the main thing is; Does AutoZone make an inferior DEx III, because I already bought some but am waiting to add it.
