| I have a 1974 skier 16 with a glass split glass windshield with glass wings and i want to remove it so i can redo the dash. any suggestions on how to remove the windshield. I am currently restoring the boat for next season. i don't want to ruin what i have ! |

The windshield frame is held down by t-bolts. Take a look under the deck and you'll see them coming through. Pop the nuts off and the windshield will lift right off.

Your local home improvement store should have these (toilet bolts) which work just fine and they're cheap. A few of mine needed a bit of modification to fit into the frame but nothing a little grinding couldn't fix.
