In 88, CC/PCM used a 4-bolt Hi-Perf pass block casting # ending 445(at least that was in mine and a few others I've seen). I have 1 stashed in my shop, but...

I'd like to keep it stashed for a while.

I've decided I might let that block go. If you'd like me to make a short or long block for you, send me an e-mail. millman1@bellsouth.net

I just got the sad news from my machinist that my 69 427 four bolt block was to far gone in the cylinder walls to clean up. he went sixty over on three holes and they would not clean up!!! Crap! going to have to find another seasoned block.

Sure it can be re-sleeved however cost of sleeving and then honing I can find another block and start over. Also building a motor that needs to spin 7000 RPM's and be reliable.

Yea but their were millions of them built in the US between the early 60's and early part of the 2000's.
they are though starting to thin out. I can buy a new one from summit or even GM performance but whats the fun in that?
