Jody, That's #9 the one going to auction is it's predecessor #8.   

There's a good article on woodyboater.com about this boat. The boat was repowered years ago and just recently the original hand built Miller v-16's were found and restored. Looks like #9 was repowered along the way too, I would guess it probably had Packard v-12 originally.

Listen now- I don’t want any of you guys bidding me up on this one like you did when I bought “IX”.   I had to sell off my Cayman estate to cover that fiasco good thing that was before the real estate market tanked.

looks like each engine has two magnetos... I need to get a poster made for the shop of those "twins"!!!

The boat is supposed to sell around 7:30 Eastern time tonight... you can watch the auction online at Mecum live stream. Also on TV/Velocity channnel.
